Meet The Team

Dr. Melissa Torres has been recognized as one of Boston Magazine’s Top Dentists in 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. As a renowned general and cosmetic dentist, she specializes in creating beautiful smiles through preventative care, porcelain veneers and composite bonding – helping her patients feel confident about their smiles.

Dr. Torres earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious Howard University College of Dentistry, graduating 2nd in her class. Her academic excellence led to her induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She furthered her training by completing a post-graduate residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Growing up as a first-generation Latina in an underserved community, Dr. Torres recognized the importance of giving back. She has consistently volunteered at dental clinics and healthcare fairs throughout her career, including participating in a weeklong dental mission trip to Jamaica with the Christian Dental Society.

Driven by her passion for continuous learning, Dr. Torres regularly attends dental aesthetics courses across the U.S. to stay at the forefront of her field.

Outside of the office, Dr. Torres enjoys traveling the world, spending time with her family, and spoiling her beloved Corgi, Honey. When she’s not perfecting smiles , you might find her listening to podcasts or reading.

Fun fact: During dental school, Dr. Torres had an unexpected adventure – she worked at a circus!
